Kitchen cabinet

Loving the storage for plates, plus other useful details of this modern cabinetry work.

Sadie's Room: Purple & Cream

Pretty lavender and off-white/cream themed room for kids. The white part consists of wood with paint finish.

The bed located in the middle of the room with stunning rose bouquet lamp :)

Note to self: Include a full-length mirror or vanity area for sadie's room. :) (yes, kunsintihin ang kakikayan hehe)

Sadie's Canopy bed

Sadie has been requesting a canopy bed for months. If we ever got a chance to move into a new house soon, this is the type of bed she'll definitely love. (The bed could be a bit lower though)

An upholstered headboard would also be nice.

Kitchen: Natural Light

After years living in a house with very few windows, our dream house should have tons of natural light sources, especially in the kitchen.

This is a great example of integrating natural light sources.

The horizontal panel windows, which were custom made by Jennifer Reiner, added plenty of light for the kitchen work space.

Note to self: Don't forget about the island... a small one like this would be perfect.

Breakfast nook

Another must-have: a breakfast nook like this, or ala-old school diner :)

Teal details look great too. :) Especially with that pastel yellow Kitchenaid mixer. Oooh laaa laaa.

Checkered Tiles

Not sure about the other details of this kitchen (some looks very Granny to me)...but the checkered tiles are a MUST!

* I also love that the kitchen looks like it has its own space because of the divisions (lower left & lower right details). This would be great if our house won't have much space to add a door/wall going to the kitchen.

The bedroom

So I was watching the 'Antonio Treatment' on Lifestyle earlier and couldn't change the channel. The bedroom he was working on looked very very sexy and looks like my dream master's bedroom. Check out the custom-made bed, textured wall and stunning lighting! Even the tiles looked yummy :)

WALL: It was made with over a thousand 4 x 4 lumber.. and included overhead lighting (inside the wood!!), the bed itself and side tables, which I think looked small (I need my space for books and probably a laptop hehe). It had a switch for dimming the lights, which was a great idea for some QT :P The headboard used was vinyl wallpaper (a metallic one) that was also integrated into the bed's design. (I think Mr.Komang and I would prefer an upholstered headboard instead of this vinyl wallpaper though, but I'm definitely keeping the color).

TILES: The flooring Antonio used were masonite tiles, which were stained to look like old leather. Antonio even told the lucky couple that (like a good ol' leather jacket) the tiles would look better as time passes. These tiles were installed using washers and screws, which reflect perfectly with the dim lighting.
